First, Gratitude

I'm grateful for remote work options, which has opened up opportunity for me to be closer to nature in the Berkshires.

Interviews with community builders
Peter T. Coleman is author of The Way Out: How to Overcome Toxic Polarization. We take a walk outside and explore why and how movement and being outdoors can help us to "unfuck America."
Monica Guzman is Digital Director of Braver Angels and author of I Never Thought of It That Way: How To Have Fearlessly Curious Conversations in Dangerously Divided Times In part 1, we talk about how to make a habit of being curious; the power of asking how, not why; how to turn an assumption into a question, and allowing people to surprise you. She shares the example of someone she interviewed for her book.
Keith Marks is Director of Next Stage Arts Project in Putney, Vermont. We talk about arts in rural communities, and how arts can reflect the world we're living in now. We address how you know if what you're doing is working, and how "we are the government." We stroll though the campus of Jacob's Pillow in Beckett, Massachusetts.

A Quote..

"How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world."
